HUNTINGTON, NY — Two well-known Huntington Village restaurants have closed after being marketed earlier this year as a $1.2 million package deal, Patch confirmed Tuesday.
The broker handling the sale of The Rust & Gold and 1653 Pizza Company told Patch the businesses are expected to reopen.
The businesses were publicly marketed in March on the Instagram account, businessbrokerking, as a package of two restaurants in Huntington Village.
The restaurants are describes as generating $2.8 million in annual gross revenue.
It was not immediately clear whether the restaurants would reopen under the same names or concepts.
The Rust & Gold opened in 2016, and 1653 Pizza Company opened in 2021 in the former Massa’s pizzeria space.
Patch has reached out to ownership for additional comment.
