HUNTINGTON STATION, NY — Suffolk police are seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspects they say swiped portable hard drives valed around $2,199 from Best Buy in Huntington Station back in January.
It happened at the Walt Whitman Road store on Jan. 13 at 8 p.m., according to police.
The pair was seen on security video, according to an image released by the department. One suspect, a man, can be seen wearing a dark shirt with white lettering and dark pants, a gray beanie, and a camouflage puffy jacket. The second suspect, a woman, can be seen wearing gray leggings, a white shirt and socks, and a black jacket and black sneakers.
The crime has been classified grand larceny.
Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to an arrest in the case. Anyone with information can submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, using a mobile app, which can be downloaded through the App Store, or Google Play by searching P3 Tips.
