5 Melville Elder Law Attorneys Recognized By Best Lawyers For 2027

4 Cona Elder Law attorneys were named to The Best Lawyers in America, while another earned Ones to Watch recognition.

MELVILLE, NY — Five attorneys at Melville-based Cona Elder Law have been recognized in the 2027 edition of Best Lawyers, the firm said Monday.

Four attorneys were named to The Best Lawyers in America, while one was selected for Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America.

The attorneys recognized are:

Jennifer B. Cona, founder and managing partner, was recognized for Elder Law, Health Care Law, and Trusts and Estates. She has been recognized by Best Lawyers since 2020.
Melissa Negrin-Wiener, senior partner and member, was recognized for Elder Law and Trusts and Estates. She has been included since 2023.
Ken Kern was recognized for Elder Law. He has been included since 2024.
Sarah Rebosa was recognized for Trusts and Estates, marking her first year on the Best Lawyers list.
Dylan Stevens was named to Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America for Trusts and Estates. He has received the recognition since 2026.

Best Lawyers says its recognitions are determined through an annual peer-review process in which attorneys evaluate other lawyers practicing in the same geographic region and legal field. Lawyers cannot pay to be included in the rankings, according to the organization.

The 2027 edition marks the 33rd edition of The Best Lawyers in America.

Cona Elder Law focuses on elder law, estate planning, estate administration and litigation, and health care law. The firm serves clients on Long Island and throughout the New York region.
