2 Arrested, 11 Violations Issued At Huntington Station Nightclub: Police

Two employees were charged during an inspection at The Carousel Night Club; officials also issued 11 building, fire and code violations

HUNTINGTON STATION, NY — Two employees were arrested and a Huntington Station nightclub was cited for multiple building, fire and code violations during a multi-agency inspection Friday night, Suffolk County police said.

Second Precinct Crime Section officers, along with the department's Human Trafficking Unit, New York State Liquor Authority, Town of Huntington Fire Marshal and Town of Huntington Ordinance Inspector, conducted an inspection at The Carousel Night Club, located at 522 East Jericho Turnpike, at about 11:30 p.m. on Aug. 28, police said.

Police arrested manager Rick Scola, 59, of Huntington Station, on a charge of employing an unlicensed security guard, an unclassified misdemeanor. The nightclub was also issued two tickets for State Liquor Authority violations, police said.

Antonio Daddi, 52, of Merrick, who police identified as a security guard at the establishment, was arrested on a charge of working as an unlicensed security guard, also an unclassified misdemeanor.

Town of Huntington fire marshals and a code enforcement inspector issued a combined 11 building, fire and code violations to the establishment, according to police.

Both men were issued field appearance tickets and are scheduled to be arraigned Sept. 17 at First District Court in Central Islip.
