Leading marketing technology solutions provider I.Predictus has named Sam Prasad its new senior vice president of technology and chief technology officer. In his new role, he will direct the technology efforts of the company’s suite of cutting edge analytical tools that help major brands analyze consumer acquisition and response. He has held similar roles in leading corporations for nearly three decades.

Before to joining I.Predictus, Prasad was director of quality assurance and web architecture for MBS Insight/GSI Commerce (owner of eBay). From 2005 to 2009 he was vice president of software engineering for Intelligent Software Systems, where he helped create data warehousing solutions for clients as MTV Networks, Sirius XM Radio and the New York Islanders. Earlier in his career, Prasad held positions with Goldman Sachs, and Lipper, a Thomson Reuters Company.

Prasad is a member of the Project Management Institute and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. He serves as chairman of Section 303 of the American Society of Quality and as a certified software quality engineer (CSQE), speaks frequently on software quality issues at ASQ conferences.
Prasad received his doctorate in computer science from Stevens Institute of Technology. His bachelor’s and master’s degrees in electrical engineering and computer engineering, respectively, were received from leading universities in his native India.
