Antiques & Jewels On Main Owners Plan Retirement, Store To Close
The store has been in the Huntington community for over 40 years. It will likely close shop by early 2020.

HUNTINGTON, NY — After four decades of serving the Huntington community, Antiques & Jewels On Main is preparing for its curtain call. The 293 Main St. spot has been selling jewelry, from classic to modern, since May 1979.
Rutika Gold, who owns the store with her husband, George Reisner, said the couple plans to retire and close the shop by early 2020, though the exact date is up in the air.
"We appreciate everyone who’s been our client and our friend," Gold told Patch. "We’ve made a lot of them over the last 40 years. It’s very bittersweet to close, and we’re looking forward to the second chapter of our lives."
