1. Huntington School Board: The Huntington school board meets at 7:30 p.m. at  Monday.

2. Jim Abbott In Town: Former New York Yankees pitcher Jim Abbott will speak and sign his book, "Imperfect: An Improbable Life," at the Monday at 7 p.m.

3. Did You Know? Each year, April 16 is known as National Stress Awareness Day. Started by the Health Resource Network in 1992 to raise awareness of stress, interestingly, the day of awareness falls one day before the federal income tax deadline in 2012.

4. Coraor Named Valedictorian: Congratulations to Juli Coraor, named Huntington High School's valedictorian for 2012. Coraor, a national Intel Science competition finalist in 2012, hopes to attend the University of Chicago next year, according to the school district website.

5. Sal Signorelli Remembered: Salvatore Signorelli, 79, of South Huntington April 13 at the age of 79. He was a life member of the Huntington Community First Aid Squad, Huntington Hospital Auxiliary and a Lloyd Harbor Bay Constable. Donations in lieu of flowers may be sent to the Huntington Community First Aid Squad.
