Benefit Aids Families Driven Out by Fire

A benefit Sunday helped raise funds for two families that were displaced by a fire in their East 11th Street home.

Both families are living with friends who are themselves in difficult straits.

Sunday's event at Station Sports was to raise money; a drive for clothing and furniture donations will be held laer.

The town condemned the building because of the damage caused by an electrical fire.
