Bicyclist Airlifted To Hospital After Greenlawn Crash: Police
A 75-year-old bicyclist was struck by a Subaru at Butterfield Drive and Pulaski Road, Suffolk police said.
GREENLAWN, NY — A 75-year-old bicyclist was seriously injured after he was struck by a vehicle in Greenlawn on Tuesday afternoon, Suffolk County police said.
The bicyclist was struck by a 2022 Subaru at the intersection of Butterfield Drive and Pulaski Road at about 1 p.m., police said.
He was taken by Suffolk County police helicopter to Stony Brook University Hospital in serious but non-life-threatening condition, police said.

Police said his identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
The driver of the Subaru was identified by police as Bryan Maldonado-Acosta, 22, of Huntington Station.
