Singer songwriter Patricia Shih & Friends in a Farewell Concert, Art exhibit and Fundraiser for LIC

Multiple national award-winning Singer Songwriter Patricia Shih presents her final Farewell Concert, joined by a dozen top LI musicians and singing friends. Capping her multi-decade career in music, Patricia will perform a full-length retrospective of her songs. A Silent Auction of musical instruments, jewelry, art work, services and more will be included in the celebration at the concert.
Adding to the excitement will be a month-long solo exhibit of her oil and watercolor paintings, drawings and photographs. Patricia will hold a free reception, artist talk and tour of the exhibit on Sat. Sept. 21, noon - 2:00.
Friends helping to celebrate: Patricia's band Stephen Fricker on bass and guitars; Alan Asuncion (from off-Broadway's "Stomp!") on drums and percussion; singer songwriter Janice Buckner; Take Two - James O'Malley and Candice Baranello; harpist Annie Mark; Mountain Maidens, tradition folk; Larry Moser of Fiddler's Green; Maria Fairchild on banjo; Rebecca and Andrew Perea on violin and cello, and Glen Saunders, bassist all from The Counterclockwise Ensemble.
Admission is by suggested donation of $25, more if possible, less if necessary, plus one item of non-perishable food for Long Island Cares No one will be turned away!
All proceeds and food collection will go to Harry Chapin's charity Long Island Cares, which works to mitigate food insecurity in the community.
