From whalers' hands to the Oval Office, scrimshaw has a surprising but strong patriotic story! See historic examples from the museum's collection, then sketch, etch, and ink your own scrimshaw-style keepsake with your own creativity! In honor of America's 250th, explore how American whalers used whalebone to show pride in our country's liberty. Registration is required.
