Car Crashes Into Telephone Pole In Huntington Station
The driver was able to get out of the car on his own and was taken to Huntington Hospital for medical evaluation.
HUNTINGTON STATION, NY--An driver crashed their car into a telephone pole on Thursday at about 10 a.m. in Huntington Station.
Volunteers from the Huntington Community First Aid Squad under the guidance of Advanced Life Support EMT Captain John Mancino and Emergency Medical Technicians Lorraine Healy and Thomas O'Leary responded to the scene at 200 Broadway. Upon arrival, they found the lone adult managed to escape the car.
The man was transported to Huntington Hospital via ambulance to undergo a medical evaluation. No criminal charges have been filed.

The crash led to the telephone pole's base being cracked in half with a wire down on the roof of the adjacent building. PSEG Long Island was contacted to secure the damaged telephone pole.
