Voters Approve Cold Spring Harbor School Budget, Board Members Elected
Residents headed to the polls Tuesday to vote on a school budget and elect board members.

Cold Spring Harbor residents approved a 2017-18 school budget on Tuesday.
The $66,623,073 budget passed with 420 yes votes and 166 no votes, according to the school district. The budget is a 2.52 percent spending increase over the current year and it comes with a 2.42 percent tax levy increase.
The Capital Reserve Fund Expenditure proposition was also approved with 411 yes votes and 167 no votes.

Residents also elected Mark Friedberg and Mark McAteer to the Cold Spring Harbor Board of Education.
