Cops: Huntington Station Man Committed 16 Burglaries

The man was arrested in Farmingdale for commercial burglaries in various Suffolk locations, police said.

A Huntington Station man was arrested Wednesday for committing 16 commercial burglaries in various Suffolk County locations during the last five months, authorities say.

An investigation led Suffolk Police to arrest Anthony Myles, 50, in Farmingdale for several of the recent burglaries. Police then determined that Myles was linked to nine burglaries in the Second Precinct, five in the First Precinct, one in the Third Precinct and one in the Fourth Precinct, totaling 16 burglaries.

Myles has been charged with sixteen counts of third-degree burglary.

He was scheduled for arraignment on Thursday at First District Court in Central Islip.

The investigation is continuing and detectives are asking anyone with information to contact the police at 631-854-8252.
