Cops: Man Stole Beer, Food at Huntington Station Store

Police release video surveillance of a man they say stole items from a 7-Eleven.

Suffolk County Police seeking the public’s help to identify and locate a man they say stole items from a store in Huntington Station in October.

Police say a man entered the 7-Eleven at 1297 New York Ave. on Oct. 26, and approached the cashier while holding a 12-pack of Bud Light beer and two sandwiches. When the cashier was distracted, the man left the store without paying.

The man is described as wearing a grey tank top, jeans and a white belt. He was accompanied by a woman who was wearing a white tank top, police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
