Cops: Man Stole Clothing from Melville Store

Suffolk County Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man they say stole clothing from a Melville store last month.

Police say a man entered the Marshalls at 834 Walt Whitman Road, on Oct. 10 at 4:45 p.m. and stole assorted men’s clothing. The man is described as in his late 20s, approximately 6 feet tall, with a beard. He fled in an older model white sedan with Florida license plate 042YEG.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
