Cops: Menorah Outside Plainview Home Destroyed

Police say the incident occurred between Friday at 10:15 p.m. and Saturday, at 8:45 a.m.

A menorah in front of a Plainview home was knocked down and destroyed sometime Friday night or Saturday morning, authorities said.

Nassau Police say a large illuminated decorative menorah was damaged outside a Gerhard Road residence.in what detectives are calling a “bias incident.” Police say the incident occurred between Friday at 10:15 p.m. and Saturday at 8:45 a.m.

The investigation is ongoing, police said.
