Cops Seek Man Who Stole from Saks 5th Avenue in South Huntington

Suffolk County Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who stole clothing from a South Huntington store in August.

Police say a man entered the Saks 5th Avenue at 230 Walt Whitman Road, and placed a Helmut Lang blazer in a shopping bag and exited the store on August 19 at about 2:20 p.m. The blazer has a value of $695.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
