Crusoe & Sons Boutique Opens In Huntington

HUNTINGTON, NY—Crusoe & Sons, a travel-inspired streetwear and apparel boutique, opened earlier this month in Huntington, the store announced.

Located at 291 Main St., Crusoe & Sons aims to carry "some of the best fashion and lifestyle brands from around the world," according to its press release.

Dozens of shoes of different types (the majority being sneakers), as well as plenty of apparel ranging from tee shirts and jackets to shorts and pants are available.

Co-founder Ankur Amin revealed the store's target audience in a statement.

"Our consumer is the modern man and woman who grew up in the Internet age of street culture," Amin said. "Their sense of style comes from where they are from and where they have been. They stay connected to their community, value new experiences, and take inspiration from their journeys. Crusoe & Sons is a shop tailored to that person - the global citizen."

With the store's showroom being modeled after the deck of a ship, "the original vessel for discovery and exploration," Crusoe & Sons is looking to nail the discovery motif. An in-shop library showcases travel and design books and collectibles from cultural icons. The store also features washed brick walls, an eclectic collection of mixed media furnishings and a maritime porthole that reveals waves on the floor.

Crusoe & Sons will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Mondays through Saturdays, and 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays.
