DAR Chapter Collects Bras for Homeless Women
Ketewamoke Chapter in Huntington Sends Over 300 Bras to I Support the Girls
Thanks to the generous support of the Huntington area community, Ketewamoke Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution is providing a little more dignity for women in need throughout our state. A local clothing drive resulted in the donation of 305 bras to be sent to I Support the Girls, a non-profit organization that provides undergarments and personal hygiene products to women in shelters.
The donation came from DAR members as well as residents from the Huntington/Cold Spring Harbor communities. Ketewamoke chapter would like to thank everyone whose outstanding generosity resulted in this donation.
