Del Frisco's Grille Coming Soon to Walt Whitman Shops

Simon’s Walt Whitman Shops is pleased to announce Del Frisco’s Grille will soon join the center’s impressive mix of retailers. With plans to open in late spring 2016, the 9,056 square-foot restaurant will mark the brand’s first Long Island location.

It is a special designation to be the restaurant’s first location on Long Island and a testament to the great shopping and dining at Walt Whitman Shops.”

Del Frisco’s Grille is a vibrant, upscale-casual eatery featuring creative twists on classic American comfort foods. An ‘anytime eats’ dining destination, Del Frisco’s Grille serves lunch, brunch and dinner with an array of fun and approachable menu items, featuring the freshest ingredients sourced as locally as possible. Prime, wet-aged steaks, fresh seafood and daily chef-inspired features round out the menu. All of its desserts are made from scratch daily and its showpiece item is the signature Coconut Cream Pie.

Del Frisco’s Grille is known for creative, hand crafted cocktails, which are changed seasonally to showcase fresh ingredients and flavors. Its ‘50 Under $50’ wine list is made up of approachable wines, all of which pair well with the Grille’s diverse menu. Local craft beer selections are also highlighted and made available.

The restaurant will have 277 interior seats, a private dining room with accommodations for 40 patrons and an outdoor patio area. Its design seeks to be stylish, comfortable and fresh – a reflection of the restaurant’s approach to cuisine.
