Donald Trump Reportedly Contacts Slain NYPD Sergeant's Wife
The president-elect offered his condolences to Greenlawn resident Lisa Tuozzolo, a news publication reports.

President-elect Donald Trump made a call to slain NYPD Sgt. Paul Tuozzolo’s wife Thursday to offer his condolences, according to the New York Post.
Lisa Tuozzolo and her two sons Austin and Joseph grieved alongside thousands of police officers from the New York, Nassau County and Suffolk County police departments at the sergeant's funeral mass Thursday.
“I’m very sorry I cannot be there with you today," Trump told Lisa Tuozzolo, according to the Post. "My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time."

Tuozzolo was killed in the line of duty Friday, Nov. 4.
The Greenlawn resident was promoted to sergeant-special assignment for saving another sergeant's life before his death.
