Donation Drive For Veterans In South Huntington: Info

SOUTH HUNTINGTON, NY — South Huntington Girl Scouts are collecting non-perishable foods and personal care items for veterans on Tuesday, the troop announced.

People can drop off items from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the front entrance of the South Huntington Public Library, at 145 Pidgeon Hill Road, Huntington Station.

Foods, as well as soap, toothpaste, shampoo, deodorant, and more are among the requests. People can drive up and pop their car trunk — no need for them to get out, according to the troop.
