Car Strikes Tree Near Huntington Station LIRR Station
The driver was hospitalized following the Sunday afternoon crash, police say.
A man was hospitalized after crashing his car into a tree in Huntington Station on Sunday afternoon, police say.
According to authorities, the man was driving eastbound on Broadway when his vehicle veered off the road and struck a tree in front of 100 Broadway, near the parking garage at the Long Island Rail Road station, at 4:30 p.m.
The man was transported to Huntington Hospital by Huntington Community First Aid Squad to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
