Drunken Driver Hits Several Parked Cars at Mill Pond House: Police

A Centerport man drove drunk and crashed his pickup truck into multiple parked cars at the Mill Pond House restaurant Monday night, police say.

According to authorities, Mark Camenzuli, 53, was driving a 2007 Toyota Tundra westbound on East Main Street in Centerport when his truck left the roadway at 8:50 p.m.

The truck then crashed into nine parked cars at the Mill Pond House, located at 437 East Main St., police say. A row of several luxury cars were damaged, including a BMW, a Mercedes and an Audi, the New York Post reports.

Two guests attending a 30th birthday party at the restaurant grabbed Camenzuli and held him until authorities arrived, according to the Post.

Camenzuli was arrested and charged with DWI.
