The Suffolk Piano Teachers Foundation will honor Anqi Ma, sixth grader at East Moriches Middle School in East Moriches as Second Place Winner of the early intermediate division at the Honors Recital and Awards Ceremony to be held at Stony Brook University's Staller Center Recital Hall on Thursday, June 2, at 5pm and 7:30pm.
As a second place winner, Anqi will receive her medal and certificate. She performed Moonlight Rose by M. Bober at the March competition. Anqi is a student of SPTF member, Tatiana Balepina.
SPTF wishes to honor Barry Tognolini and thank Steinway Gallery of Long Island for their generous cash award donations for all first place winners of the five-level competition. SPTF is a non-profit organization. Honors recitals are free and open to the public.
