James Coll, a NYC detective and adjunct associate professor at Nassau Community College and a highly knowlegeable, non partisan dynamic speaker will be presenting "Electing the President." The LWV of Huntington and the Harborfields Public Library with the help from the NY Council of the Humanities are proud to be sponsoring this interesting, informative and timely program. This lecture will provide an overview of the development of the modern American presidency. Topics for both historic and contemporary analysis will include the process and the Chief Executive's relationship with Congress, the Supreme Court, the press, and the people.
