650 tons of rip-rap are needed to protect the concrete at the lighthouse base and landing, which is being eroded away. The Huntington Lighthouse Preservation Society needs to raise a minimum of $250,000 in order to receive matching funds from a New York State grant which will enable it to complete much needed restoration work. Hope to see you!
