Heart Screen New York a program under the Louis J. AcomporaMemorial Foundation and the Dominic A. Murray Memorial Foundation will hold afree Heart Screening at Walt Whitman High School, South Huntington NY. The goal of this collaborative effort is toincrease awareness about Sudden Cardiac Arrest in youth and the importance ofcardiac screenings and early detection in saving young lives. The screening isopen to all students ages 12-24 regardless of the school they attend. Severalleading cardiologists from area hospitals will be offering their services to the screening The screening will consist of a heart health survey, heartsounds physical, ECG and Echocardiogram.
