Fatherhood Initiative Program Kicks Off in Huntington
The program will help dads improve their resumes, search for jobs, look for continuing education opportunities and more.
The Suffolk County Fatherhood Initiative Program kicks off its first session in a four part series geared towards fathers on Tuesday at the Huntington Resource Center.
The initiative will provide workshops, resume development, job search, continuing education opportunities, assistance with obtaining identification, transportation assistance, case management upwards to six months, referrals and other supportive services.
The program is looking for more fathers to join.

Fathers who are interested can meet at the Resource Center, located at 1268 New York Ave., from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. every Tuesday through August 11.
