Final Call Band Of Huntington Releases New Single: Listen
The band is hosting a single release show on Saturday. Final Call is planning an album or extended play for late 2024.

HUNTINGTON, NY — Final Call, a band in Huntington, released its new single, "High School Romance," at midnight Friday, the band announced. A show is scheduled for Saturday.
The song is an "energetic, catchy tune that details an unrequited love," lead guitarist Greg Diem told Patch. "The band’s collaborative efforts and pop punk roots result in a strong, melodic melody that will hopefully be stuck in listeners' heads!"
Diem is joined by lead singer Pat Carroll, who also plays rhythm guitar; Paul Vomvas on bass; and Evan Brandow on the drums.

"'High School Romance'" is written from the perspective of an overdramatic teen who lacks in self confidence, especially when talking to girls," Diem explained. "In his mind he believes he that he is not good enough to woo the girl of his dreams so he eventually gives up. An experience many have gone through, this song is meant to be both reminiscent of the past and a reminder to be confident in your self worth even when things don’t initially work out. While this song leaves with the teen in a dark place, other elements of our upcoming songs will continue this theme and story."
"High School Romance" is the first of "many" songs the band has in the works, Diem said.
