Here are the top stories today in Huntington:

  1. Fire rips through Nassau's 2nd Precinct Police Department in Woodbury. The fire originated in the kitchen and tore through the building around 10 p.m. Saturday night. The building was badly damaged and according to Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman, it is not salvageable. “At this time, we have made a preliminary assessment of the damage and we’ve determined that the building is not salvageable,” Blakeman said. “We will be expediting the construction of a new precinct building.” (News 12 Bronx)
  2. Check out five new homes for sale in the Town of Huntington. These are the freshest homes to hit the market and we have the scoop on each listing.
