Fire Stalls Great Huntington Social Start
Rebuilding continues; unclear when restaurant will be reopen.

From all accounts, , the new gastropub located at the corner of Main Street and New York Avenue in the former Chesterfield’s space, had gotten off to a fabulous start after opening last month — but a small fire July 29 has temporarily closed down the establishment.
As of today, the restaurant remains closed with owners unable to be reached for comment.
An announcement posted on the restaurant’s Facebook page July 30 said they would be closed for one to two weeks “due to a small fire in the wall of the restaurant.” The message continued, “We are extremely thankful to our staff and guests for managing a difficult situation with such grace and attention to safety precautions. “ An Aug. 5 update added, “We are still coordinating the rebuild, so no Social fun this weekend but hopefully soon."
