Fundraiser Made For Family Of Man Shot To Death In Suffolk
Villalba-Jimenez was fatally shot at his front door, police say. "His family was the center of his world," says the fundraiser's organizer.
HUNTINGTON STATION, NY — Donations are pouring in for the family of Roquez Villalba-Jimenez, who was shot to death at age 32.
He was killed when he answered a knock at the front door of his Huntington Station home at 11:35 p.m. Saturday, Suffolk police said.
A GoFundMe page started on Monday has raised more than $5,600 for Roquez Villalba-Jimenez's family.

"Willy" was a father, husband, friend, brother and son, wrote Sandra Huffman, the GoFundMe organizer.
"Because of how unexpected this was, we are raising money for funeral expenses and a starting point for his family and kids," Huffman wrote. "Anything helps and sharing this GoFundMe would be appreciated. His family was the center of his world, and nothing would mean more to him than to know they are being looked after. We appreciate all the love and support."
