Gas Stations Drawing Crowds Again

A few stations were out of gas Friday morning, while others had lines of 20 to 30 cars.

Stations on New York Avenue in Halesite and on Jericho Turnpike in Huntington Station were supplying fuel for the most part.

But the Mobil station at the intersection of Jericho Turnpike and Route 110 was out of all fuel except diesel. Lines formed at stations at the Jericho and Oakwood Road intersection.

And a few other stations farther east along Jericho had blocked off access to their pumps.
