Cuomo Executive Order Allows Gatherings Of 10 Or Fewer People
The gatherings can be held for any reason, but social distancing guidelines must be followed.

NEW YORK, NY — Gov. Andrew Cuomo on Friday night issued a New York-wide executive order that allows any gathering of 10 or fewer people, as long as social distancing guidelines are followed.
The order allows "any non-essential gathering of ten or fewer individuals, for any lawful purpose or reason, provided that social distancing protocols and cleaning and disinfection protocols required by the Department of Health are adhered to."
A prior executive order by Cuomo banned all non-essential gatherings with the exceptions of Memorial Day activities or religious services and ceremonies, which would still have had to follow the up-to-10-people guidelines.
