Greenlawn Teen Fights Rare Cancer, Community Shows Support
A donation page has been set up to help relieve the financial burden of the Schmidt family.

A Greenlawn family has dropped everything to support their 16-year-old daughter who was recently diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of cancer.
In response to this tragic news, the community is looking for a way to help.
Maggie Schmidt, 16, a junior at Harborfields High School, received the life-changing diagnosis in October.

Since then, her mother has not been able to work, her father is running out of sick days and her brother has deferred his college classes for the semester to give their full attention to Maggie.
Fighting the cancer has put a financial burden on the Schmidt family, so friends have created a donation page to show their support.
