Stony Brook's Staller Center Honors Recital

Katerina Reich Wins Top Piano Award

The Suffolk Piano Teachers Foundation (SPTF) will honor Katerina Reich, seventh grader at Hampton Bays Middle School in Hampton Bays as First Place Winner of the late intermediate division at the Honors Recital and Awards Ceremony to be held at Stony Brook University's Staller Center Recital Hall on Thursday, June 2, at 5pm and 7:30pm.

As a first place winner, Katerina will receive her award, cash prize, and play her winning piece, Sonata in f minor, Op.9, Mvt.1 by I. Genishta. Katerina is a student of SPTF member, Tatiana Balepina.

SPTF wishes to honor Barry Tognolini and thank Steinway Gallery of Long Island for their generous cash award donations for all first prize winners of the five-level competition held in March, for first, second, and third place. SPTF is a non-profit organization. Honors recitals are free and open to the public.
