Handmade Fair Coming To Walt Whitman Shops

The two-day shopping fair will feature jewelry, home decorations, candles and collectibles.

SOUTH HUNTINGTON, NY — A Handmade Fair is coming to South Huntington courtesy of Walt Whitman Shops and Devoshion.

Custom, upcycled, and cruelty-free creations by local Long Island artisans will be sold at the mall's Center Court from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday, according to a news release.

  • Jewelry: Wire-wrapped jewelry, silversmith jewelry, crochet jewelry, polymer-clay jewelry, hand-fused dichroic glass jewelry, resin jewelry, beaded jewelry, seashell jewelry, and more.
  • Home-Decor: Handmade signs, hand-painted rocks, wreaths, hand-painted wine glasses and light-up bottles, handmade macrame wall art, and more.
  • Candles: All-soy based, no petroleum, no paraffin, hand-poured candles.
  • Collectibles - There will also be an extensive selection of rare and hard-to-find comic books, action figures and pop culture collectibles. There is something for the whole family.
