Harbor Nights at the Museum: Day of the Dead
Thursday evening Happy Hours exploring weird whaling topics AND you make a craft!

Thursday, October 19 from 6:30-8:30 pm, call a sitter and come out for a night of good old fashioned adult fun…it’s time for another monthly Harbor Nights program! This month, we’re inspired by the whalers’ global voyages and multiethnic crews as we paint and decorate a traditional Dia de los Meurtos mask for Day of the dead. Tour the exhibits, enjoy some adult refreshments, and have fun making your mask! Harbor nights tickets are available online for $15, or $20 at the door. Space is limited, so purchase your ticket today.
“Harbor Nights” is a monthly series where we highlight an unknown aspect of whaling through a hands-on activity and tasty treats. Held the first or second Thursday of each month from 6:30 – 8:30 pm, upcoming evenings include:
- Revisit Corn Husk Dolls in November
- The Ugly Sweater Party in December
- Historic Cheese and Hardtack in January (with special guest cheese monger Jessica Affatato of Harbor Cheese & Provisions!
