GREENLAWN, NY — Carrie Miller, a physical education teacher at Washington Drive Primary School, was named Suffolk Zone Elementary PE Teacher of the Year by the New York State Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance, the Harborfields Central School District announced.

"We are so proud of Carrie and all she does for our students," Rob Franco, Harborfields director of Health, Physical Education and Athletics, stated. "We couldn’t think of a more deserving person and our students are lucky to have her."
