Harborfields Girls Spring Track Team Earns Medals In Season Opener

Thirteen student-athletes brought home 14 medals at the Bay Shore Invitational.

BAY SHORE, NY — The Harborfields High School varsity girls' spring track and field team had a successful season opener at the Bay Shore Invitational on March 26, with 13 student-athletes bringing home 14 medals, the school district announced.

Athletes placing at the event were Marina Bak (1,500-meter), Molly Diskin (100-meter), Peyton Elward (high jump), Natalie Greco (long jump), Faelan Kennedy (400-meter), Ivie-Ann Mergille (high jump), Marielle Murn (800-meter), Alison Ryan (100-meter and 200-meter), Zoe Sbarra-Vaughan (100-meter), Delilah Shaprio (100-meter hurdles, Sara Tovar (high jump), Nigella Trinidad (shot put) and Sarah Walker (400-meter).
