Harborfields High Softball Hosted Childhood Cancer Awareness Game

During its May 2 game against Hauppauge High School, the Harborfields varsity softball team honored cancer fighters and survivors.

GREENLAWN, NY--The Harborfields High School varsity softball team hosted a childhood cancer awareness game against Hauppauge High School back on May 2. In addition to honoring cancer fighters and survivors, the squad raised nearly $500 through a bake sale, T-shirt sale and crowd donations.

Prior to the game, the whole team wore golden shirts with “No One Fights Alone” written across the back. The team also supported Harborfields sophomore Gabby Cava by raising signs that read "Team Gabby."

Hauppauge's team wore gold ribbon color for childhood cancer to support the game's cause.
