Students from the integrated co-teaching program at Oldfield Middle School paid a special visit to read to younger students.

GREENLAWN, NY — Students from the integrated co-teaching program at Oldfield Middle School in the Harborfields Central School District recently paid a special visit to read to younger ICT students at Washington Drive Primary School, the school district announced.

ICT programs feature two teachers within the classroom, one special education teacher and one general education teacher. The event was organized by Casey McGrath.

"It was an incredible day, as our Washington Drive students looked in awe at their OMS counterparts," Principal Kathy McNally said in a news release. "The middle schoolers delighted our students by reading their favorite children’s books, fostering a wonderful love for reading together. It was truly special."
