Voters Approve Harborfields School Budget, Board Members Elected

Residents headed to the polls Tuesday to vote on a school budget and elect board members.

Harborfields residents approved a 2017-18 school budget on Tuesday.

The $84,174,956 budget passed by an 83 percent margin, according to the school district. The budget is a 1.59 percent spending increase over the current year and it comes with a 1.68 percent tax levy increase.

Voters also elected David Steinberg and Christopher Kelly to the Harborfields Board of Education.
