Help Fix Bicycles For Local Kids!

Can you donate some time fixing bikes for deserving kids & teens in our South Huntington community?

In May of 2017 we had our very successful 1st Annual Brett’s Bicycle Recycle Safety Event! We gave away over 70 used and a few brand new bicycles to some of the underserved and very deserving kids and teens in our South Huntington community all in memory of our brother Brett. Over the past several months we’ve been continuing to collect your used and unwanted bicycles. We have met so many of our kind-hearted and generous Huntington residents who donated their bikes to us. We are so thankful to you but now we have a problem!!! We have huge back log of bicycles, scooters and tricycles in all kinds of condition that are in need of repair. Some just need a safety check, some need air in the tires, some need gear or brake adjustments and some are beyond repair but might be able to be used as parts to fix the others. So we are in search of a few local residents and/or bicycle repair shops who are willing to donate their time fixing a bike or two to ensure that we’re ready for our 2nd Annual Brett’s Bicycle Recycle Safety Event that we have coming up in May of 2018. Do you want to help us Pay-It-Forward and brighten a child’s day who might not be able to afford a new bike? Then we need you!!!

Please contact us through our Facebook page:

PLEASE CONSIDER DONATING TO OUR CAUSE:
Purchase our Tire Tread Wristbands & Original Logo Design T-Shirts!!! Buy a few! Give them out! Wear them proudly! Spread the word! Your donation will help us and these kids tremendously. All proceeds go towards paying for the purchase of parts for the repairs.
