HSLQ 6th Annual Spring Cleanup

Each Spring, Friends of HSLQ walk the streets of Huntington Station to sweep, weed and pick up litter. Over three dozen friends joined our efforts in 2014. The purpose of the Spring Cleanup is not only to clean the streets but to create a sense of pride in community. While walking the streets, Friends speak to business and land owners as well as residents about the importance of keeping a neat and well kept sidewalk. We encourage business owners to keep their storefronts free of weeds and litter. We hope to see you Sunday, April 19th between 10am-2pm. This is also a great opportunity for kids to receive community service
