🌱 Hunt. Hospital Earns B Grade + Worker Dies in Fort Salonga

Here are the top stories today in Huntington:

1. Huntington Hospital gets high grade from The Leapfrog Group. Huntington Hospital received a B grade from the Leapfrom Group, in which the list reviewed 2,900 hospitals nationwide. It was the most ever hospitals reviewed. The B grade gives Huntington Hospital the third best ranking on Long Island, behind NYU Langone in Mineola and St. Francis in Roslyn. (Patch)
2. Construction worker dies at job site in Fort Salonga. A construction worker died Tuesday after he was pulled from 10-foot hole at the bottom of a drainage pipe in Fort Salonga, Suffolk County police said. The man died from apparent carbon monoxide poisoning, police said. (smithtownmatters.com)
3. Man struck by truck in East Northport. A man was struck by a pickup truck on Pulaski Road in East Northport on Wednesday morning, Suffolk police said. A man was driving a 2020 Dodge pickup truck northbound on Pulaski Road, near North Hill Drive, at about 8:37 a.m., when it struck a man standing near a trailer on the side of the road and the Dodge overturned, police said.
