Huntington Burger King Cooking Oil Theft; $1,600 Worth Stolen: Police

The used cooking oil was stolen, and the duo is wanted for grand larceny, police say.

HUNTINGTON, NY — Two men stole $1,600 worth of cooking oil from a Burger King in Huntington on Oct. 31, Suffolk police said. Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help finding them.

Two men stole the used cooking oil from outside Burger King, at 1760 East Jericho Turnpike, around 5:35 a.m., police said. They drove away in a white van and are wanted for grand larceny, police said.

Police ask anyone with information to reach Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip via phone call at 1-800-220-TIPS, using a mobile app which can be downloaded through the App Store or Google Play by searching P3 Tips, or online at www.P3Tips.com. A cash reward is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
