- New hotel opens on former Town Hall property. The ribbon cutting ceremony took place on Thursday, where town officials welcomed the Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton. Town Councilwoman Joan Cergol said, “Congratulations to George Tsunis and family for taking on this important redevelopment project that has so beautifully re-purposed the iconic and historic former Huntington Town Hall building to meet the needs of residents and visitors to our great town. This is truly one of Huntington’s most stunning examples of adaptive re-use and I am so proud to have had a hand in bringing it across the finish line.” (Huntington Now)
- ICYMI: Huntington Cinema Arts Centre reopens. After two long years, Huntington Cinema Arts Centre finally reopened on Friday for in-person screenings. The Centre completed renovations while it was closed. Co-director Dylan Skolnick said, "It's all brand-new and fixed up. Kicking off the weekend with some great films, especially one you could bring your mom to. We have a lovely French movie called 'Petite Maman' that's about mothers and daughters. And it's an amazing, sweet, wonderful movie." (News 12 Long Island)
